Description

Our work at Shobnall Primary School has provided curriculum music tuition for the long-term. We combine this with instrumental tuition with students one-on-one as well. Some activities we’ve spearheaded have been a Shobnall’s Got Talent show, musical composition for silent movies based on the “The Society Raffles” 1905. This was a creative project for year six pupils. Another example is teaching year 6 conducting techniques and gestures and then letting them have a go and conducting the class choir! For younger ones singing in pitch with year 3 using Sol-fa. Music has become creative, enjoyable and lively for all those at Shobnall Primary!
